How to use WestJet’s Web check in for your transborder/international flight
You can check in for most transborder/international flights (excluding charter flights) from 24 hours up to 60 minutes prior to departure and print your boarding pass before you go to the airport with WestJet's Web check in service!
Web check in is available for guests traveling with a passport. For more details on Web check in, please see our frequently asked questions.

Here are the few easy steps: |
Step 1 - Search reservation
Enter the following information to start your Web check in:
1) Enter your Last Name and select your Departure City
Then, enter one of the following:
WestJet Confirmation number (this is found on your itinerary)
OR
Credit Card Number and Expiration Date (must match the credit card used to book your flight).
Click the search button to move onto Step 2.

STEP 2 - Review itinerary
Review your itinerary information and assigned seats. All flights within the Web check in window will be displayed.- 2A) Review your itinerary and check your assigned seats.
Click on the Change Seat button to change seats on any flight of the trip.
OR
Select the guests for check in and click the continue button to move onto Step 3.

STEP 2 (cont'd) - Change Seats- 2B) The seat map of the first flight in the trip is displayed.
Select the current seat to be changed and choose an available seat on the seat map. Select the next seat to be changed (for other guests or connection flights) and continue until all seat changes are complete.
When you are finished, click the Review Itinerary button to review your itinerary, change seat on the next flight and select guests for check in.
OR
Click the continue button (available when guests have already been selected for check in)to move onto Step 3.

STEP 3 - International Travel Information
Transborder and international flights require additional travel information for each guest prior to checking in.
Click the International Travel Information Required link to enter the required information.

3A) If you are American, your passport information is required. WestJet is required to request emergency contact information.
OR
|
 |
3B) For all other Nationalities, your passport information is required. The address of your first night in the U.S. is required (only required for flights into the U.S.).
Click the submit button to add international travel information for other guests.
After international travel information has been completed for all guests checking in, click the continue button to move onto Step 4.

STEP 4 - Baggage
Select the number of pieces of baggage each guest will be checking in.- 4) Select 'Carry-on Baggage' check box for each guest with carry-on baggage. Select the number of pieces of checked baggage for each guest with checked baggage.
Click the continue button to move onto Step 5.

STEP 5 – Print boarding pass
Print your boarding passes for all checked in flights and guests.
- 5A) Click the print boarding passes button to print the boarding passes for all guests on all eligible flights.
5B) Click on the fare details check box if you would like a printed copy of the fare details statement for each flight and guest.
Click the done button to move onto Step 6.

STEP 6 - Enjoy your flight
That's it, you are done!- 6) Verify that all the boarding passes and fare detail statements have been printed. If not, you can go back and re-print.
If you were unable to successfully print your boarding pass, you can print your boarding pass at a WestJet self-serve check in kiosk (select airports only) or see a WestJet Customer Service Agent at the Baggage drop at the airport.
WestJet has dedicated Baggage drop in all airports. So if you have baggage to check, just go to the WestJet counter marked 'Baggage drop' with your boarding pass handy.
If you do not have baggage to check, please go straight to security.
