How to use WestJet's Mobile check in

You can check in from 24 hours up to 30 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights and from 24 hours up to 45 minutes for transborder/international flights with WestJet's Mobile check in service!

Here are the few easy steps:
Step 1 - Search reservation

Enter the following information to start your Mobile check in:

    1) Enter your Last Name and select your Departure City

    Then, enter one of the following:

    WestJet Confirmation number
    (this is found on your itinerary)

    OR

    Credit Card Number and Expiration Date
    (must match the credit card used to book your flight).

    Click the continue button to move onto Step 2.

STEP 2 - Review itinerary

  • 2A)Review your itinerary and assigned seats. All flights within the Mobile check in window will be displayed. By default, all guests eligible are selected for check-in. De-select any guest not checking in now.

    For transborder/international flights, only guests that have previously provided WestJet with their International Travel Document information will be eligible.

    Click on the continue button to go to the next step with your current seat assignment.

    OR

    (Optional) Click a seat number button to select another seat on that flight.

STEP 2 (cont'd) - Change Seats (Optional)
  • 2B) On the seat map, click on an available seat marked by O to select the seat.

    Click on another guest name to change their seat, if applicable.

    When you are finished, click finished seat change to continue to next step.

    OR

    Click review itinerary to change a seat on another flight.

STEP 3 - Select your baggage

Select the number of pieces of checked baggage for each guest with checked baggage.
  • 3) Click continue to complete check-in.

STEP 4 - Request an e-BP(Optional)

For domestic flights only, you have the option of receiving an electronic boarding pass (e-BP).
  • 4A) Click on the fare details check box if you would like a copy of the fare details statement for each flight and guest emailed to you as a PDF attachment in a separate email than your electronic boarding pass.

    4B) Enter the email address for your mobile device and click send e-BP.

    OR

    4C) Click no thanks to obtain a paper boarding pass at the airport.

STEP 5 - Enjoy your flight

That's it, you are done!
  • 5) If you were unable to successfully send your boarding pass, you can print your boarding pass at a WestJet Self-serve check-in kiosk (select airports only) or see a WestJet Customer Service Agent at the Baggage drop at the airport.

    WestJet has dedicated Baggage drop in all airports. So if you have baggage to check, just go to the WestJet counter marked 'Baggage drop'.

    If you do not have baggage to check, please go straight to security.

    You can also subscribe to Flight reminders for status updates on departure or arrival times.

Remember to bring your boarding pass and photo ID to the airport at least 60 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights and 90 minutes prior for transborder/international flights.
